Story Time
What can one person do to help protect our environment? Children of all ages are invited to answer this question during a special interactive storytelling experience celebrating Isatou Ceesay’s recycling efforts in Njau, The Gambia, in honor of Earth Day on April 22. After reading One Plastic Bag: Isatou Ceesay and the Recycling Women of The Gambia by Miranda Paul, Fowler Educators will introduce visitors to El Anatsui’s metallic tapestry featuring upcycled everyday materials, such as bottle wrappers and tops.
