Announcing the Fundacion AMA Visiting Artist program

With generous support from Fundacion AMA, the UCLA Department of Art is establishing the Fundacion AMA Visiting Artist program, a two-year program that will bring Chilean artists to UCLA each year. Fundacion AMA has previously collaborated with the UCLA Department of Art History to support graduate student travel to Chile. In addition to working closely with faculty and both graduate and undergraduate students, visiting artists will engage the broader community with a public lecture. More details on the program are forthcoming.

About Fundacion AMA
Fundacion AMA was founded ten years ago by Juan Yarur with the mission of supporting the connections between Chilean art and the world.  To this end, the foundation supports residencies, programs, and travel that encourages dialogue and collaboration between Chilean artists and critics, academics and specialists abroad. Fundacion AMA is led by Founder and President Yarur and Director Bernardita Mandiola.
