Your donation - directed primarily toward scholarships and fellowships - will allow students to play leading roles in one of the most vibrant arts communities in the world. The Fund for Excellence also enhances the learning experience at UCLA by sponsoring visiting artists and scholars, performance workshops, student and faculty initiatives, and community outreach efforts. Your active support can help Arts and Architecture students develop their talents and fulfill their enormous promise. Your involvement is greatly needed and appreciated. As a donor to the Fund for Excellence, you will be listed in the School of the Arts and Architecture fall newsletter. You will also receive invitations to school activities, including art exhibitions, architecture lectures, cultural festivals, and student performances. For

That's the legacy we have inherited from UCLA's founders, and it remains our challenge for the future - to continue to pioneer, dream, and innovate. With a unique blend of higher education in the arts and extensive public arts programming, the UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture is rapidly emerging as a pacesetter in the practice, presentation and theory of visual, performing and professional arts in Southern California and beyond. The School of the Arts and Architecture recognizes that to continue to thrive as a cultural and intellectual training ground, it must support its most valuable resource -- students. You can express your commitment to the School of the Arts and Architecture in a way that holds special meaning by targeting your support for undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships. Now, more than ever, we are relying on our friends in the community to help sustain the accessibility and excellence of our programs. Support from you can make a critical difference for deserving students in architecture, art, design | media arts, ethnomusicology, music, and world arts and cultures -- and help talented young people who might not be able to afford a degree without private assistance to fulfill their dreams.
